Delete it in the app
- Open Takkato and sign in.

Can't open the app?
Email support@takkato.app from the email address of your Takkato account (the one from Google or Apple), and include your username if you know it. We may ask you to confirm the request. We delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, username, bio, photo, email and country.
- Your recipes, photos and videos. Photos and videos are removed from our storage within minutes.
- Your comments, likes, saves, follows, followers and blocks.
- Your pantry, notifications, notification settings and sign-in sessions.
- Your link to Google or Apple. If you sign in again later, you start a brand-new account.
- Prize delivery details (name, phone and address).
- In a competition that hasn't finished: your entry is withdrawn, people who voted for it get their vote back, and your own vote is cancelled.
What is kept
- Activity records without your identity. Some records (for example that "a deleted chef" liked a recipe) are kept so rankings and counts stay correct. They are no longer linked to your name, email or profile.
- Finished competitions. If a competition's results were already announced, the result stays, shown as a deleted chef.
- Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
- Information we must keep by law, or to deal with fraud or a legal claim, for as long as needed.
